About Me
In middle school I spent a lot of time on Facebook and always wondered how those sites were built. Over time I got to know HTML and FBML, Facebook's own markup language, and started building plugins for Facebook pages. Later I wanted to build my own web applications, which led me to building them with HTML, CSS, PHP, and jQuery. Tinkering with things, getting them to work, breaking them and fixing them again has been one of my favourite things ever since. I've seen first-hand how the web and software have changed and how things have come to be what they are today, and I've kept building on that in this never-ending journey. At 17, in high school, I took up sports. Sport took on a serious role in my life in terms of discipline, mental strength, and focus, and over time became an integral part of it. The consistency, quick decision-making, and long-term thinking I gained in that period have also fed directly into how I work. I've been working as an active frontend developer since 2022, and along the way I've worked in many places, on many different products, with different people, and that has given me a lot of experience.
